Privacy Policy

This page explains how STL Galaxy handles information. It is not legal advice. Governing details (business name, ABN, governing law) should be confirmed before publish.

Who we are

STL Galaxy (stlgalaxy.com) is a Melbourne-based platform for maker apps, 3D printable designs, hosting, print farms and an AI connector (MCP). Contact: archiscale@mac.com (email only — we do not publish a phone number).

What we collect

On the website

  • Account email and profile details you provide
  • Sign-in by emailed 6-digit code (OTP) — we process the code delivery, not a password vault for that flow
  • Files you upload (designs, HTML apps, images, project assets)
  • App and project metadata (titles, descriptions, categories, public links)
  • Usage events needed to run the service (visits, downloads, support tickets)
  • Payments are handled by Stripe — we do not store card numbers

Through the MCP connector (mcp.stlgalaxy.com)

  • Account email of the signed-in user who authorises the connector
  • Tool inputs and outputs for actions the user requests via their AI client
  • OAuth consent and session data needed to keep the connection secure

Why we use it

  • To provide accounts, hosting, listings, downloads and print jobs
  • To process payments and pay sellers / print farms
  • To review apps and print-farm applications
  • To operate the AI connector for authorised users
  • To secure the platform and prevent abuse
  • To respond to support requests

Who we share with

  • Stripe — payments and payouts (card data stays with Stripe)
  • Hosting providers — infrastructure that runs the site and apps
  • The print farm the customer chooses — job details needed to fulfil an order (city/country level location; we do not publish street addresses or phone numbers)
  • AI clients only receive tool results the signed-in user requested through the connector

We do not sell personal information.

Retention and deletion

We keep account and transaction records as long as needed to run the service and meet legal obligations. You can request access, correction or deletion by emailing archiscale@mac.com. Some records (e.g. completed payments) may be retained where the law requires.

Your rights

Depending where you live, you may have rights under the Australian Privacy Act, and GDPR / UK GDPR / CCPA-CPRA style rights (access, correction, deletion, portability, restriction, objection, and opt-out of certain sales/sharing where applicable). Contact us to exercise them.

Cookies

We use cookies and similar storage for sign-in sessions, preferences (including theme), and essential site functions. You can clear cookies in your browser; some features need them to work.

Children

STL Galaxy is not directed at children under 13. Do not create an account if you are under 13.

Security

We use industry-standard measures (HTTPS, access controls, Stripe for cards). No method is 100% secure; please use a unique email you control.

Changes

We may update this policy. The “Last updated” date at the top will change. Continued use after updates means you accept the revised policy.
